The Bower hotel is situated in Oldham, 6.5km from Manchester. The hotel is easily accessible by road from the M62/M66. Manchester Piccadilly main line station is located 6 miles away.

Our 90 comfortable bedrooms include 28 club bedrooms which are larger than you'd expect in a three star hotel, with many of the rooms overlooking the secret garden to the rear of the hotel.

Dining at the hotel is available in Sheridan's, our popular restaurant open to both hotel guests and local residents. Both original and innovative dishes complement an extensive wine list and also a great variety of traditional choices.

This is a great alternative to the city centre and offers great value for money. Close to Manchester Airport, spectacular scenery, traditional pretty villages, bleak moorland and the vibrant excitement of Manchester city centre.

The M60 - from the South
Leave the M60 at Junction 22. Go straight on at the lights onto the A6104. After 200 yards, pass Mirror Group Newspapers then Morrison's Supermarket. The Hotel is next on the left.

The M60 - from the North
Leave the M60 at Junction 21. Turn right at the roundabout, and then right at the lights, and get straight into the left-hand lane. Take the first left onto Semple Way (signposted for Ashton Under Lyne). At the end of this road Morrison's Supermarket will be facing you. Turn right at the traffic lights and the Hotel is on the left.

The M62 - from the South
Leave the M62 at Junction 20. Take the third exit signposted Oldham & Ashton. Follow this road, which will lead you onto Broadway. Go straight down Broadway for over 1 mile until you come to the Total Garage on your right. At this point take the left-hand lane and go through 4 sets of traffic lights. Turn left at this slip road onto Semple Way. At the end of this road Morrison's Supermarket will be facing you. Turn right at the traffic lights and the hotel is on the left.

The M62 - from the North
Leave the M62 at Junction 20. Take the 1st exit signposted Oldham & Ashton then follow the same directions as above from the third point.

The hotel is very conveniently placed by the M60, the staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The hotel is very clean, the room was decorated beautifully and was spotless!! The food was excellent. It is also very easy to get into the city from there. I would certainly recommend this hotel as value for money.

I have stayed at the Bower several times & I am very impressed, excellent breakfast & ideal location for M60.
