Lift rarely worked and staff seriously demotivated especially those that worked on the 8th floor. Breakfast staff worked very hard but were overwhelmed by numbers of people eating. The food itself was good though. Bar area had settees that were absolutely filthy. All problems looked to be as a result of shortage of staff. Those there were helpful and friendly to guests.

Very basic, no nonsense hotel. Courtesy coach to Manchester Airport was handy. However. Have breakfast at the airport.

Having read some very bad reports on this hotel I was expecting the worst! However, our room was very clean, bit on the small side, but perfectly adequate for a one night stay. The breakfast was fine. The staff were friendly and really no complaints.
