Cross Hands Hotel Old Sodbury

A very warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. Staff were very welcoming and inviting and the food was sensational. I recommend the Duck in Cherry Sauce to anyone going there, as a must and its all-great value for money. Me and my partner had a perfect night there and the accommodation was clean and comfortable. Five Stars.

Just minutes from the M4 junction 18, the Cross Hands Hotel Old Sodbury is a charming old posting house dating back to the 14th century. The property is also convenient for the Badminton Horse Trials and the Castle Coombe Motor Racing Circuit.

Old Sodbury is surrounded by beautiful Cotswold countryside, with Bath and Bristol close by. Those who like a bit of spooky history might like to know that the cellars were once used to house convicted criminals, sentenced to death by 'Bloody' Judge Jeffreys.

The conference and banquet centre makes weddings and conferences a speciality at the Cross Hands. The hotel can cater for up to 120 guests, with the beautiful gardens, adding the perfect finishing touch.

By road
Junction 18 of the M4, follow signs to Old Sodbury on the A46 for 2 miles until you reach the traffic lights. The Cross Hands Hotel is on the right.
