Royal Albion Hotel Brighton

The emergency escape I believe, in front of Our room 119 was very dirty. Colours of the walls and bed cover were dark and old. Receptionists and other staff were very polite. It is a pity that the Hotel doesn't have its own car park.

It was a lovely hotel - the main improvement would be leisure facilities (i.e. swimming pool).

Had the most fantastic sea and prom views but sadly the room was so poorly furnished it spoilt what could have been a luxury room. Great jacuzzi bath but the rest let down by a bright orange chair and a bed that was so old the springs were coming through, but what a view!

Attitude from reception staff very bad not very helpful spoke very sharp to guests. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. the decor very old beds lumpy and uncomfortable, breakfast poor price, expensive considering state of hotel.

Nice victoria type hotel, perfect location, okay rooms, entrance not very good for disabled persons, service fairly, good standard english breakfast.

The hotel really is centrally situated. Our room was spacious and nice, except the view from the window. We only saw walls and machines. Room facilities were great, to be in England even the toilet and shower were spacious and in good condition. There was plenty of choices on the breakfast buffet, but the tables might have been cleaner. The lift was broken for the whole stay! Anyway I would choose this hotel again!

Royal Albion Hotel is ideally placed for shopping and the Pier. Situated only 2 mins walk from the lanes and 200 metres from the beach! Cheerful friendly staff and clean rooms.

The room wasn't as good as last year - make sure you ask for a sea view and the jacuzzi bath.
