Quality Hotel Brighton

We checked in on time with no hassle. Arrived at our room to find that the door was broken where someone had forced it previously. Room very musty, small and dated. You needed a shoehorn to get in and out of the bathroom. Lots of stag/hen parties here. Breakfast was a write off as there were not enough seats for the amount of paying guests. Requested to wait for nearly 25-30mins, gave up and went elsewhere. Very overpriced, only good thing was the location. Staff were not interested in much of what you had to say unless it was good or easy to deal with. My advice is pay more and stay elsewhere!!!!!!

The reception staff were helpful. Breakfast was excellent due to helpful staff and the food was hot and appetising.

Don't normally leave reviews but unfortunately this was a terrible stay for us. Starting as we arrived with confusion over the booking despite having the confirmation. I think we were dumped in the tiny room that smelt badly of smoking despite the ban. Room was badly in need of a refurb to all areas, basin and bath both cracked, bed broken, decor very tired. However, great location and didn't spoil our weekend. Just not worth the over £100 per night rate, sorry!

Although I said location is very good is that it is centralise and easy access to amenities like shops and restaurants and my meeting venue-the reason I went to Brighton for. But I had to say as my room was facing the high street it was very busy and noisy up to early morning hour which disturbed my early retirement to bed. The hotel has special parking facility in connection with NCP which I found was great.

Very helpful friendly staff. Buffet breakfast kept well stocked up even when v. busy. Key parts of room were clean but carpet filthy, as were they all over hotel. Would go again at this room rate.
