Russell Court Hotel Bournemouth

Reception were in the middle of training a new employee(?), and so could not be bothered to attend to us when we signed in until they had finished talking to the new trainee - 5 mins. The room - a double - also had a third 'put-up' bed in it, which made it VERY cramped. The bed should have been dismantled and removed before we were given the room. No bill was offered or given on checking out.

A cheap and basic hotel in a good location right next door to one of the towns more elaborate 4 star examples. Breakfast in with the basic price but a little limited with the time allowed for breakfast. I think that the hotel should advise about the car parking fee and the charge for using a credit/debit card at the hotel (£2.50 currently).

Although the decor was a little tired in places, it still did not detract from the overall impression of the hotel. It was a great, mid budget hotel with really kind staff. I'd stay there again without a doubt.

Our experience was very positive. The hotel staff went out of their way to be sure that we had everything we needed.

Russell Court Hotel is situated in the heart of the beautiful Bournemouth, close to the town centre and within easy reach of the resorts beautiful beaches, major shops, attractions such as Abbotsbury Sub Tropical Garden, Lulworth Castle and the Highcliffe Castle. The Matchams Leisure Park, Alice in Wonderland, Bournemouth Bay and the pleasure gardens are also few minutes away from the hotel.

Rooms
Accommodation is provided in 62 bedrooms, which have been furnished to a high standard intact with all the amenities taking care of its valuable guests. Most of the rooms provide one with panoramic views of the sea.

Food & Drink
Superb in house dining in the hotel restaurant and entertainment is all provided under one roof in hotel.

General
Dynamic courteous staff are on hand to provide a personal and professional service to all patrons staying in The Russell Court Hotel Bournemouth. Further amenities include a lift to all floors, night porter and entertainment most nights.

From London
Travelling from London, take the M25 in the direction of Southampton. Then take the M3 which will lead to M27 and on to A338. The A338 runs directly to Bournemouth. Follow the signage for Bournemouth city centre along the route/ pier route. This road will bring you on to Bath Road. The Hotel will be found on your left hand side.
