Carousel Hotel Blackpool

We really enjoyed our stay, The Carousel is a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay there again. The rooms were lovely, the food was great, no complaints whatsoever. The only down side is parking, there aren't many spaces in the car park at the rear. Fortunately we managed to park on a street nearby.

This hotel was the best we stayed in on our whole trip. The staff were extremely helpful, even walking us to our room. The rooms were modern with good quality fittings. Highly recommended.

Above all this hotel was was one of the best I have stayed in. The only thing that let it down as far as I was concerned was the service in the restaurant. On one evening, the bar was closed, due to a function, so part of the restaurant was in use as a bar area. After finishing our meal, my friend and I ordered a drink, upon receiving it we were presented with a bill for them. After paying this, we adjourned to the area set aside for bar use. Just after we had sat down, another member of restaurant staff came over and presented us with a bill for the meal. My friend pointed out to the member of staff, that we had not actually finished yet, and would pay upon leaving the restaurant. We were told that he had to present us with the bill for security reasons? After I pointed out that we were actually guests in the hotel, he left us in peace, and I settled the bill when we left the restaurant. The food itself I must say was very well presented and very good value for money.

Only one small very old fashioned lift so if you struggle with the stairs be prepared to wait, otherwise a perfectly good hotel of its type.
