Very poor reception. Staff indifferent to client needs. No 24 hour internet access despite promoting availability. Promised discount on parking not delivered. Entrance to Hotel disgraceful. Breakfast OK. Rooms tired.

Great hotel. Very clean, excellent service, breakfast buffet was top class. Very well located only five to ten minute walk from City Centre. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Would be better if WIFI could be provided for hotel room guests, t-mobile would be a good choice! Other than that, everything was fine.

Average pricing due to the fact that breakfast was extra for £13 each. Apart from that the room was great. Will definitely stay here again if we're back in town.

Noise from traffic in the room even with the windows shut. I was woken three times during the night by visitors banging cupboard doors after 2300 hrs. poor sound proofing.

Road
From M6 junction 6, follow A38(M) signs to city centre and South, do not take the exit to the left. Go over flyover, stay in left hand lane. Exit left "Jewellery Quarter, West Bromwich A41". Thistle Birmingham City hotel is situated 200 yards on left immediately after flyover, just after Whiltail Street. There is a NCP car park connected to the hotel, guests will receive a 40% discount.

Rail
New Street Rail Station is approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel. To reach the hotel turn left out of the station along New Street, turn right up Colmore Row and then left towards St. Chads at the roundabout. When you reach St. Chads Circus turn right onto Queensway and the hotel is on the right.

Air
From Birmingham Internationl Airport (9 miles), take the M6 and exit at Junction 6, the A38(M) towards Birmingham. Follow signs for St. Chads and at the roundabout turn left following the sign post for Jewellery Quarter. The hotel is located on the left hand side, this is the A38 (Queensway).
