Train delayed so late check-in but hotel reception staff extremely helpful - offered to change room to quieter location because of late night function. Lovely stay!

Hotel Description

Location
The Hotel is situated in the heart of Birmingham's impressive newly pedestrianised shopping area, close to the town hall and central plaza. It is within it's own exclusive arcade, adjacent to New Street station. The Hotel is at the hub of the motorway network and is 10 minutes by rail from Birmingham International Airport and the N.E.C.

Rooms
All of the rooms are individually designed and vary in size from small tomedium. The hotel’s 112 non-smoking bedrooms all have independently controlled comfort cooling The bathrooms are marble with gilded fittings.

Food & Drink
The Berlioz restaurant is the Hotel's own exclusive A La Carte establishment, whilst breakfast is catered for in a seperate dining area. The Bacchus bar is extremely popular and inviting, designed to reflect the garden of eden, with beautiful floral displays.

General
The Hotel is a unique and imaginative property, the opulence of which reflects the money invested in it. The attention to detail is remarkable and refreshing. The hotel building is a superb illustration of the 125 year family history; the grand staircase is lavishly decorated with marble and each bedroom is large and airy.
