The hotel is very convenient for Aston University, and is easy to get to from the hotel. On arrival, the reception staff were helpful and explanatory about all aspects of my stay. There is ample car parking, with the gates being locked at 11pm is re-assuring that your car is safe for the night. The rooms were clean and bedding was spotless, the desk area included 2 chairs which was very useful. Having a bistro and bar in the hotel is very handy and the buffet breakfast was excellent.

For as little as 35 quid and a central location clean, comfy beds great restaurant etc cant go wrong!

The staff were quite hard to understand as they were all french and didn't speak much english... the rooms were basic but clean.

Perhaps the decor is just a bit worn now in some of the rooms but it still represents good value for Birmingham and in easy reach of the centre. The buffet breakfast is generous and tasty. Weekend parking is easy but a bit of a problem on weekdays if the hotel's meeting facilities are in use.

Located on a little side street, you'll need a car or taxis to get around. Room was a little tired but clean so nothing to worry about.

The Hotel is basic but clean i enjoyed my stay there and would recommend that people try it. Through hotelslisting.net you get better saving which is definitely worth it.

Helpful staff and a good breakfast. I wish we had time to investigate the complex canal lock system right next to the hotel.
