Overall a nice, modern hotel. A five minute walk along the river to the town centre. Can be a bit noisy if you are on the side facing the railway track and you leave the windows open. Excellent breakfast. The worst thing about this hotel is that you cannot reserve a parking space and the car park gets very full. I would go here again.

Busy road and railway very close but on other hand lovely walks into Bath along riverside. The website said the rooms were air conditioned but they were not although the staff did find us a fan! Staff very friendly and helpful but laundry was not sent when promised. The whole place is a funny mixture of very stylish refurbished parts and really old fashioned rather down at heel aspects. For example very stylish wardrobe space with concealed trouser press/ironing board with iron; modern lighting and bedside tables etc but really old-fashioned curtains with pelmets at windows.. Dining room in particular was very old fashioned though Breakfasts were all you could want but does no one in catering understand that tea needs boiling water any more? One big bonus was that they accepted my guide dog without any difficulty and had thoughtfully given us a room with balcony on the ground floor which was very helpful.

I booked this hotel for 5 days to unwind before our hectic European tour. We certainly needed this after our 36 hour trip from Australia. The room (although a little small) with its view over the water was perfect. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is perfectly positioned for the very pleasant short walk to the centre of Bath. Would stay again and recommend to others.

There was some refurbishment on the floor I was allocated but I think this is temporary and should improve some of the bedrooms. The reception was busy at times.

Lovely location for the hotel which is why I chose to stay there. Room was clean and of an adequate size. No mini bar. All staff I came in contact with were pleasant however it did take a long time to check out as there were lots trying to do so at 11a.m and only 2 staff on the desk. Thought the price was slightly high for the facilities that were there - The location however made it appealing.

Perfectly located hotel in Bath. Would recommend staying here. Free parking is a real plus.

Driving Directions
Exit the M4 at junction 18 and follow the A46 to Bath.

After approx ten miles you will reach a large roundabout take the third exit which is signposted for Bath city centre. At the third major set of traffic lights turn left onto the A36 (Bathwick Street). At the end of the road take the right hand lane and follow signs for Bristol and A4.

At the nest roundabout also take the second exit into Pultney Road. Keep in the left hand lane and go through a set of traffic lights and under a railway bridge. You will then join a one-way system and need to move into the right hand lane before turning right after the last stop. After doubling back on yourself the hotel is immediately on your left hand side.
