Food was average, location was perfect. Wouldn't rush back - felt I'd 'been done' considering the cost.

Location
This hotel is situated in the heart of the countryside. The Macdonald Pittodrie House is 30 minutes from Aberdeen, and 10 minutes from Inveruruie. It is about 5 minutes from the main road network and is located at the top of a long drive.

Rooms
All rooms have a traditionally Scottish theme and are equipped with tea/coffe making facilities, hairdryer, satellite TV, and trouser press. The Linn Room, the Turret, the Tower, the Day Nursery … each bedroom is unique, and has been lovingly and sensitively created to preserve the original features and character of the house.

Restaurant
Savour the taste of Scottish country house cooking in the Dining Room or the Orangery. The historic dining room specialises in Scottish produce. The menu is different every day, planned to incorporate the freshest of seasonal ingredients. Light meals and snacks available in the Snug Bar.
