For the money I paid the Lodge was great especially seeing it is so close to Sydney. I would easily recommend this to people wanting cheap accommodation. The breakfast was great also and so were the dinners (they were extra but reasonably priced). I was pleasantly surprised and loved it.

Was disappointed no washbasins in rooms or tea/coffee making facilities. But made to feel very welcome using tea making in dining room at any time & staff were very kind & helpful.

Great value for the price, basic but very nice as well, parking can be an issue but if u look around you can find spaces to park all day for free.

Fantastic location and personal hotel however the room was not serviced at all during our 4 day stay.

Double room very small, just a plastic wardrobe which if leant on would fall over, great location, served our purpose for just an overnight, lots of stairs, handicapped or old unfriendly, good having breakfast so I guess for its location alone it was ok.

Glenferrie Lodge is a very cheap hotel and it wears it's 2-and-a-half starness on its sleeve. The place is a little grim, the rooms clean but not sparkling, the beds aren't too comfortable but it's better than sleeping on the floor. However, it is in a very nice location, and the staff are friendly and helpful, and it was pretty cheaply priced.

It was a good place to stay. The single rooms are extremely small, but if you are not particularly fussy they are not bad. The larger rooms are MUCH nicer and as the price is not terribly more I would recommend the larger room. The location is good, a bit out of the way but walkable and it really is a nice location to walk around.

I am loathe to be too critical as we enjoyed our stay, however the fact that our room was never cleaned and bedding unchanged in 9 days was unacceptable. Towels were only changed if you went to reception and requested them. Staff did not appear to enjoy their work, what does that say?

Glenferrie Lodge is a historic Australian National Trust Building built in 1898 and located on Sydney Harbour in the suburb of Kirribilli, which is on the north sydney side of the Harbour.

Overlooking the Sydney Harbour, the Glenferrie Lodge North is located in the suburb of Kirribilli. Kirribilli is a very historical area of Sydney, it has beautiful tree lined streets, some old majestic homes and quaint shady public parks that enjoy spectacular views overlooking Sydney Harbour. Within a short walk are a variety of cafes and shops offering a unique boutique shopping style with Kirribilli Markets held monthly. You will also find gyms, an olympic swimming pool and spectacular fishing spots nearby.

Rooms
Glenferrie lodge offers 70 quality accommodation units that are facilitated with a host of modern amenities. Most of the units are equipped with a balcony that offers spectacular views of the surrounding.

Food & Drink
The onsite restaurant serves delicious dishes for you to feast on. Our dinner menu changes daily, please ensure you book your dinner by 2pm. A 3 course meal is $20 per person. Alternatively you can order takeaway from nearby restaurant and enjoy it in our landscaped gardens, communal or private balconies.

Functions
For your business needs, the hotel offers a well-equipped meeting room, capable to accommodate up to 15 people.

Train
Take northern suburbs line to Milson's Point Station and is a short 6 minute walk to Glenferrie Lodge.

Ferry
Catch a ferry from Circular Quay, wharf no. 4 to Kirribilli Wharf.

Airport
Catch a shuttle bus straight to us for approx. AU$29 for two people, plus $6 for each additional person.
